Patrick Sullivan

Dr. Patrick Sullivan is a scientist, engineer, technologist, entrepreneur, businessman, and futurist. He founded Oceanit in 1985 and developed its "Intellectual Anarchy" approach to the art of disruptive innovation using a business model focused on human-centered innovation.

In 2016, Hawaii Business Magazine named him CEO of the Year, and in 2019, Hawaii Business News named him their inaugural Titan of Technology Leader. He has also launched numerous private equity financed startup and spinout companies.

Dr. Sullivan lives in Hawaii. Together with his family, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys everything from surfing and skiing to rock climbing and backpacking.
