Martin Aguilera

Martin Aguilera is a writer, filmmaker, and bibliophile residing in Los Angeles, California. Since 2017, Martin has been a contributing writer for the magazine "Famous Monsters of Filmland," and an essay he wrote appears in "The Brokeback Book" (William Handley, ed.) from the University of Nebraska Press. That essay is included in his e-chapbook PERSONAL BORDERS.

In March 2020, his horror story "A Valentine for Timothy" was included in the anthology NEVADA NECROMANCE, edited by Joe Moe and published by Black Bed Sheet Books.

Martin has been commissioned to write projects for a variety of independent film and TV producers, and served as story consultant for a handful of up-and-coming filmmakers on movies while in development for Blumhouse, Sony, and Paramount Pictures — films which have gone on to earn a cumulative $324 million dollars at the global box office.

He is currently developing his feature film directorial debut, a horror movie to be produced by ESCAPE ROOM and INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY director Adam Robitel.
