C.J. Baker

C.J. Baker is a multi-passionate author and poet on a lifelong mission to create positive change through the power of storytelling. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, her love of writing began at the early age of nine. She had many muses, such as poets Langston Hughes, Shel Silverstein, and Tupac Shakur.

Her creativity and skill were nurtured by her mother and cousin (both aspiring writers) who helped turn her avid interest into a purpose. While her focus is children’s literature, C.J. is a cross-genre writer, striving to educate, while also appealing to a diverse audience.

No matter what venture she takes on, she is dedicated to making a profound impact, not only in her beautiful community, but the world at large.
