For 50 years, he has been a prolific writer, publishing stories and articles globally. His career spans a wide range of roles, including investigative journalist, bar owner, newspaper editor, and publisher. He has been both wealthy and bankrupt, but has always found a way to bounce back.

In his career, Resnek has made waves with his fearless reporting, notably when he was sued for defamation by a rogue mayor whose unethical actions he had exposed. That mayor was thrown out of office in disgrace following Resnek's exposes. He contributes to the Jerusalem Post. He also writes and produces videos on a sub stack.

In 2024, Resnek gained recognition for his role as Vini Bellini in the Boston gangster film Mobston, which has since become a local cult classic. The Last Four Mayors, Who Took Down A City, the fourth volume in the Chelsea Series, was released in September, 2026. It details the city of Chelsea's dubious distinction of being the only city in the United States where four consecutive mayors were either indicted, convicted, imprisoned or sanctioned for their involvement in the city's steep decline which ended in bankruptcy, lawlessness and collapse.
