Michele Petit-Jean

Born in 1954 in Singapore, Michele Petit-Jean has spent the last forty years in South East London in a community of freelance artists where she has been a puppeteer, musician, illustrator and writer of children's books. She has a small puppet theatre company, and visit schools performing original shows and workshops. Baby Earth was first published in 1995 by Child's Play International and distributed worldwide. A popular gift for new members of the planet, it is an ideal bedtime read. The original book is now out of print, so is now available as a paperback and an ebook. Michele has several other children's books which will appear here very soon.
