Originally a mathematics graduate from Imperial College London, Ian spent many years in engineering and programme management within the high technology industry. Upon retiring he decided to apply an engineering type approach to analysing the bigger questions of life. Hence in Pondering the Meaning of Life you will find a systematic review of the evidence to determine what may be credible regarding faith, God and the afterlife. Ian feels that he has the advantage of not being part of the theological club of academics and priests because, as an outsider, he has the freedom to just say it as he sees it.
