Suzanne Dodge Nichols grew up in Gulf Breeze, Florida where, during a high school Composition Class, she discovered the rewarding discipline of writing. Since then, she has found creative expression in almost every genre of the printed word.

Suzanne is a charter member of Word Weavers International North Alabama Chapter, is a 2021 Selah Awards recipient, and a 2022 Selah Awards finalist. She is published in seven books of the Short and Sweet series and in two books of the Divine Moments series (Grace Publishing), is a co-author of COFFEE with God volumes 1, 2, and 3 (Kerysso Press). She is also a contributor to Day by Day: 40 Devotionals for Writers and Creative Types, and A Memoir of Moms (Southern Christian Writers Conference).

She and her husband make their home in Hartselle, Alabama. They have three children and ten grandchildren who live much too far away.
