Just as musicians have a need to share their music with others, I also have a need to share with others the fantasies that are in my head.

That's why I enjoy it most when people like to read my novels, short stories or essays.

I wrote my first novel at the age of 13. She told about the adventures of two friends while kayaking down the river. It was work for a Polish language lesson. The teacher liked this novel so much that she took it home to show it to someone. Unfortunately, she never came back to school because she fell ill and I did not regain the book with the novel, so I do not know how I would rate her today.

My desk and keyboard is full of life - filled with various scraps of notes, food crumbs and even sticky sugar spots.

I grew up in communist Poland. The existence of institutionalized censorship forced writers to use allegories, smuggle content "between the lines", and the reader to catch it. I soaked up this style and that's why I try to make my novels also have a hidden and deeper message.

I like to read myself, and I was most impressed by such novels as "Quo Vadis" by Henryk Sienkiewicz, "L'île mystérieuse"

Jules Verne and "Limes inferior" by Janusz Zajdel.

I am writing with the hope that among the 7 billion people there will be those who will like my novels. :)
