"Brat, Army, One (1) Each." A Gen X'er born in the "new hospital" at Ft Lee, VA, once called "Fort Hell," Chris traveled the world and settled not far from where he was born. He has worked for the Federal Government, as a Kelly Girl, taught ballroom dancing, assisted creatively at a world-renowned ad agency, managed a luxury men's clothier, helped build a start-up marketing company, freelanced magazine articles, written direct mail fundraising letters, and landed most happily working for himself as the originator of EasyAndElegantLife.com where he explores the art of living well. He is a two-time cancer survivor who credits his early detection of the disease to Esquire and GQ magazines. "A deep interest in menswear," he says "may have saved my life." As a husband to the phenomenal Mrs. E. (who did save his life), and father to a daughter, a son, and two Jack Russell terriers he is a constant work in progress. "The Middle Ground" is his first published book.
