Riona Kelly

Riona Kelly writes suspense romance novels with the emphasis on suspense or intrigue more than on romance. Early influences on her writing include Mary Stewart and Helen McInnes. She is currently working her "American Rose Abroad" series that features American women either working or visiting in other countries, mostly Europe. She is also doing the edits on a paranormal cozy mystery featuring a young theater owner with a unique gift and an intuition for puzzle solving.

Over the past few decades, Riona has traveled overseas quite a bit and loves to give her readers the full picture of the cities and customs of the country that she's found so fascinating and wonderful. Her first two books have covered Wales and Spain, but several other locations are on her mind.

She's also written a novel set in Northern California and is working on another one of those for the "Golden State" series. She lives in Northern Nevada with her long-time companion and sometimes plotting assistant, two cats, and a pesky poodle.
