Stephen R. Amos

Stephen Amos was born in Merthyr Tydfil in south Wales and now lives in the Rhondda, the setting of his first novel - Lucy For Ever. An avid cinephile, Stephen studied film at Middlesex University in the 90s.

He has been writing short stories for decades but never had the confidence to release them. It was when he started writing film reviews that his confidence grew and he started publishing his work. A few years ago, he teamed up with a great group of guys to create film89.co.uk, a site of reviews, news and podcasts dedicated to the very best in movies.

Lucy For Ever took three years to write and Stephen often found it difficult to juggle work, family and writing, however, he now has the writing bug and has since completed a collection of short stories - WITH A TWIST - and another book coming soon.
