Ty Pinkins

Born and raised in the small town of Rolling Fork, Ty Pinkins calls the Mississippi Delta home. He is a retired Army Officer who served 21 years in the military—including three combat tours. He is the co-founder and President of the Pyramid Project which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing youth from underserved communities to the social, cultural, and economic capital necessary for them to fulfill their dreams. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center.

Ty is happily married to Sabrina Curtis and is the proud father of two children: Joseph and Rukiya.
