Freya Kennedy is a bestselling author, and the not so-secret alter ego of thriller writer Claire Allan.

Her books focus on friendship and and the unique strength that women have and share.

It's Freya's mission to write books with heart that make the reader feel uplifted, understood and less alone. She hopes they also raise a smile or two.

A true Derry girl, Freya Kennedy has lived all her life in the north of Ireland. She worked for 18 years as a journalist in her home city and has been writing full time since 2016 - publishing 23 books in multiple countries and languages.

She is a huge fan of all kinds of books, listing Marian Keyes, Jane Fallon, Mhairi McFarland & Lindsey Kelk among her favourite rom-com writers.
