Shirley Richards

Shirley Richards is an Australian writer and poet who has been active since 1980. She has published two print books of poetry, won several awards, been published in anthologies, magazines, newspapers and on the internet. She runs a Facebook page entitled Shirl's Wall of Words where she shares a mixture of new and old material. She lives on the South-West Coast of Victoria with her feline, Leo, with whom she happens to share a birthday. She's a mother of three, grandmother of two and great-grandmother of one. She writes from the heart about life as she experiences it.
