Spencer James Conway

Spencer James Conway was born in Kent, UK, but moved to Kenya when he was ten months old. (Not alone of course). He has lived and worked in Swaziland, South Africa, Seychelles, England, Scotland and Mexico. Spencer has a Masters degree in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University. He is also a qualified teacher, cliff rescuer, diver and first aider.

Spencer is an adventurer by profession having worked his way around 136 countries. He is a well known author, TV and radio presenter. He is a record breaker, being the first person to circumnavigate Africa solo and unsupported. This latest book documents his attempt to circumnavigate South America.
