Emily Pierini

Emily Pierini is Associate Professor in Anthropology at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She is the author of Jaguars of the Dawn: Spirit Mediumship in the Brazilian Vale do Amanhecer (Berghahn, 2020), co-editor of Other Worlds, Other Bodies: Embodied Epistemologies and Ethnographies of Healing (Berghahn, 2023), and editor of Vestire l'Invisibile (Nuova Cultura, 2024).
