Joseph Pangaro

I am a 27 year veteran police lieutenant and former Director of School Safety and Security. I have dedicated my life to keeping people safe, specifically students and teachers and people in the workplaces of our country. In my business, the business of life and death I understand we must all be aware and prepare to respond to violence without living in fear. My books will help you do just that.

A quote I use in many of my training programs for schools makes the message clear-

"No child should ever be afraid to go to school and no parent should ever fear their child won't come home"

I have always believed that "learning is life long endeavor. We must never cease to be part of the world around us- engaged in the lives of our family and friends. This zest for life pushes me to write and create not only my books on safety and security but also columns and articles. I have also ventured into the world of fiction, based on my experiences as a police detective I will have books on true crime and even a children's book series called the "Tales of Detective Jack".
