Growing up with my brother overseas, I spent my days pedaling through small, Asian villages and rice fields on my bicycle, building models, playing board games, and reading--a lot! We didn’t have TV. What we did have were books, such as Marco Polo's travels, and I was fortunate to live in and travel to some of the same places he visited. I have always kept a journal - especially when I travel. When my two sons were little, I often invented stories involving Peter Polo to keep them amused.

Book two of Peter Polo’s adventures, "Peter Polo and the White Elephant of Lan Xang" will be available in early 2023. This time, Peter and his friends travel to the Southeast Asian kingdom of Lan Xang to help stop a war and save a baby elephant. In addition to my Peter Polo adventures, I have also penned several short stories about various topics. One of these, "The Biggest Bear in Greene County" was published in the online magazine, The Sandy River.
