Bill Elenbark wrote his first novel longhand in the empty pages of engineering class notebooks at Rutgers University, while tuning out professors blithely discussing the Mechanics of Solids (an actual class name!) He went on to get an engineering degree but continued to write in his spare time and eventually went back to school for a writing degree, where he fell in love with and began writing YA stories, particularly those with an indie rock theme or undercurrent. He wrote an indie rock music blog called Vague Space for over a decade and has attended several hundred shows in DIY spaces in Brooklyn and Manhattan since the early 2000s. He has lived for the past seven years in Hoboken, NJ, with his partner Mike and their dog Elie. https://www.billelenbark.com
