Tim Buktu Not just a city in North Africa, but also a die hard romantic, who can tell a good story.

Born in upstate New York, working class, as a youth I only exceeded in day dreaming. Took part in a government expedition to Southeast Asia to study the psychedelic properties of indigenous plants ( I was a pot smoking marine in Viet Nam) Quite sober on the night I was wounded.

Returned to U.S. after shrapnel and bullet wounds and nearly deaf in right ear. Foundered in college, dropped out and delivered the mail for thirty one years, writing without success.
