I started publishing books centered around my experiences hosting guests at our second home and vacation rental on the coast of Maine. That love for Maine and the hosting experience expanded into all types of books we could share with our guests and other local travelers, in order to enhance their amazing Maine experience.

Some of our books are not just great for Maine, but can brighten a special occasion or a hobby anywhere you live. Every single one of them stemmed from something I was doing or enjoying, and I hope they give you some great treats for yourself or special gift ideas.

When I'm not on the coast of Maine, I teach English Composition at a community college in the D.C. area, where I live with my husband, my two school-age sons, and my really cheeky Maine coon cats, Phyllis and Auggie.
