Gianmaria Ghetta was born in Trento in 1977 and lives in Rimini with his family, where he works in marketing for the IT sector. He graduated in Contemporary History from the University of Bologna and is a writer of fantasy, with a preference for historical fantasy and heroic fantasy.
He has published short novels and stories with various authors: Delos Digital, Lettereelettriche, Watson, Les Flaneurs, Italian Sword&Sorcery Books, Rudis, Tabula Fati, Rill.
Raised among the wild alpine landscapes of the Dolomites, he has always been fascinated by classic adventure literature (Salgari, Verne, Stevenson, Cooper, London, Dumas...) and later discovered great fantasy literature (Tolkien, Howard, Burroughs, Lovecraft, Eddings, Leiber, Gemmell, Le Guin, Vance...).
In addition to writing, his passions include mountaineering, wargames, cinema (especially epics and westerns) and military history, which he studies with great enthusiasm.
