Being the creative person that I was born to be, my writing skills were first noticed when my ninth grade teacher thought I'd plagiarized a writing assignment. She later apologized. My songwriting skills were recognized when, in 1989, my all-original recording won the pop-rock album of the year, given by The Rothschild Recording Society for my "Stranger In A Strange Land" release. Then, in 1990, my original song, "Gypsy Lady", was chosen as a runner up by The Texas Songwriters Association for their pop-rock song of the year. I also have two completed book manuscripts (written about a decade ago) that have mysteriously disappeared. In January of 2019, I connected with and was inspired by the most wonderful person on the planet, the superb author, Diana Beideman. Since then, I've written many hundreds of amazing new song lyrics and was in the process of putting together a musical. One day, my muse Diana said, "Why don't you write a book that gives the background for your musical?" So, I did. "Love Is Set Free" is the first half of that story. There are other books I'm planning to author, as well. Stay tuned, Light Bringers. This is just the beginning.
