About the Author

The author is a British citizen born in Syria and a qualified engineer with a degree from Kingston University in the United Kingdom. He spent many years working in the Middle East, where he lived and worked among people from diverse religious, cultural, and educational backgrounds.

His longstanding interest in Islam, Arabic history and politics, philosophy, human psychology, and human relationships led him to examine religious belief from both personal and intellectual perspectives. His writing reflects years of study, questioning, and independent reflection on faith, reason, authority, and human freedom.
