Dr. Pamela Gurley

Dr. Pamela Gurley is an author, CEO of Clark and Hill Enterprise, LLC and IAmDrPGurley, LLC, motivational speaker, and co-host Herspirtion Happy Hour podcast, who is unapologetic about how she lives her life and does so to the fullest. An avid traveler and culture lover, she has visited 40 of the 50 United States, 1 U.S. Territory, and 30 countries to gain a holistic view of the world we live in. While she loves books, live music, red wine, trying different foods, and ice cream; nothing quite compares to seeing the world. Her travels have shaped her views and given context to colorism, racism, and stereotyping.

Her book, I Am Not A Stereotype: I Am H.E.R. is her truth on her journey to self-love and self-acceptance, her perspective on the internal battles with success, and her thoughts on stereotyping and colorism. She felt it was time to have tough and transparent conversations to change the narrative and recognize that black women will NOT continue to be boxed in by society.

Dr. Gurley is a United States Army Veteran and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University; a Master’s in Health Service Administration from Central Michigan University; and a Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Organizational Development and Change from Colorado Technical University.
