E. Lily Yu

E. Lily Yu is the author of the novel On Fragile Waves, which received the Washington State Book Award for fiction; the story collection Jewel Box, a finalist for the LA Times Book Award, the Washington State Book Award, and the World Fantasy Award; and the nonfiction book Break, Blow, Burn, & Make. She received the Artist Trust LaSalle Storyteller Award and the Astounding Award for Best New Writer. Her stories have appeared in venues from McSweeney's to Tordotcom, as well as fourteen best-of-the-year anthologies, and have been finalists for the Hugo, Nebula, Locus, Sturgeon, and World Fantasy Awards.
