Deborah E. Bush

After completing graduate school at the University of Michigan, in 1976, Deborah E. Bush began a long career in technical writing and knowledge translation in the fields of environmental impact, econometrics and finance, CAD/CAM engineering, accounting and taxation, medicine, and dentistry.

She was the Communications Manager for The Pankey Institute from 1997 to 2003 and a consulting marketing and educational writer for the Institute through 2009. Since 2009, she has worked for The Preeclampsia Foundation, Dentist Profit Systems, Patient Prism, and as a freelance dental writer and editor.

She has provided writing and editing services in a freelance capacity to Dr. Barry F. Polansky since 1999, co-authored two books with him: THE ART OF CASE PRESENTATION and THE PORCH, and edited his three other books: THE ART OF EXAMINATION, A SHORT GUIDE TO A LONG CAREER, and THE COMPLETE DENTIST.

She has collaborated on several books, including RIDING BACKWARDS by Vin De Fina, THE EXCEPTIONAL DENTAL PRACTICE by Dr. William M. Lockard, COMPREHENSIVE OCCLUSAL CONCEPTS IN EVERYDAY DENTISTRY by Dr. Irwin M. Becker, and FROM PLAY TO PRACTICE with Dr. Walter F. Drew and Dr. Marcia L. Nell.
