Monde Nkasawe

MONDE NKASAWE is the author of various books, including several novels and a volume of poetry. His novels include titles like The Death of Nowongile, The Fullness of Time, We need a Country, and most recently The Golden Mess.

Monde Nkasawe hails from the Eastern Cape, South Africa. He completed Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Arts Honours degrees at the University of Cape Town, a Master of Arts degree from the University of the Western of the Cape, and a Master of Management degree in the field of Public and Development Management. He is currently a Chief Director in the Office of the Eastern Cape Premier.

Monde is passionate about history and politics. His writing is inspired by moments in history, events in politics, and everyday life.
