Catherine Browning

Catherine Browning is a Montana native. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in foreign languages and a secondary teaching credential. She taught for 30+ years until her desire to write novels took over. Intriguing Montana legends play a role in each book. Her first book, The Best Revenge, features the Flathead Lake Monster. The second book features a payroll robbery from the Great Northern Railway in 1907. There are more legends, so there will be more books.

Browning is a member of Montana Women Writers and Authors of the Flathead and supports the endeavors of fellow authors. She is co-author of a true story, No Way Out--a Montana Survival Story, by author Chris Schuck. She continues to teach as a substitute in local schools as well.
