Ramona Moore-Gilliom

Ramona Moore Gilliom currently resides in California with her husband of thirty four years, Russell Gilliom. They have two adult children, Shavaughn, Nicolas and son-n-law Stephen Foston and daughter-n-law Megan Gilliom.

Ramona owned and managed the Good-Upbringing Home Preschool. She worked with Heads-Up Reading Program and Connections for Children to provide learning environments rich with books, devices, games, and challenging vocabulary. Her successful curriculum produced preschool graduates that mastered literacy on a 4th grade level.

Volume I of this children's science and nature book series is illustrated with timeless artwork which Ramona savored from the childhood imagination of her children. 'The Earth Show' was inspired by a poem Ramona wrote about her son Nicolas. He opened her eyes to a world of wonder and exploration. With his favorite phase "look mommy" he helped her to look closer at nature and see how entertaining the world actually is. Whether they were "excavating dinosaur fossils" cliffside or going on nature walks and making "hypothesis" about different life forms, he always encouraged her to take a closer look. Today Nicolas works with her as co-author, illustrator and editor of 'The Earth Show.' Look for their exciting upcoming book releases.
