After completing his engineering degree at U.C Berkeley where he learned UNIX programming, Mr. Ted Jordan, M.S, Linux+, Security+, CISSP, SSCP, CSSLP, CCSP, CEH started his career at General Motors and joined the research laboratory driving simulation team. Mr. Jordan provisioned authentication and accessibility for high-security projects.
His career later took him to Silicon Graphics, CAVE Virtual Reality Systems, and SUN Microsystems where he engineered virtual reality rooms and defined security policies that mitigated threats worldwide.
Mr. Jordan currently works as an Ethical Hacker and Senior Cybersecurity Trainer for the U.S Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Mr. Jordan contributes to the Open Source community including LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Free Software Foundation, Wikipedia, and others. He also donates his time with The Hundred to mentor children.
