Lewis Laney

Lewis began writing queer literature as a teenager in his adopted home town of Blackpool, Lancashire. Originally from Chesterfield, Derbyshire he headed to the bright lights of Blackpool in his teens. At eighteen he had his first short story published in 'The Next Wave: The Gay Times Book of Short Stories' (2002). He went on to write more fiction and also articles for various publications including the iconic music magazine 'The Face'.

Lewis is an active participant in the LGBTQ+ community and has worked with local establishments to provide spaces for queer meet-ups and events. He now works in publishing and lives in Brighton with his partner and their dog.
