Caroline Mitchell

Caroline Mitchell was born in Persia and moved to the Gower Peninsula, south Wales, at a young age.

Chains of Gold is her debut novel which draws on her experiences of step-parenting and the issues that can fragment the traditional nuclear family. As a child of divorced parents with new spouses to get to know, and becoming a step-parent herself to young children when she got married, Caroline understands the joys and challenges an extended complex family can bring.

Dividing her time between Monmouthshire and Bristol she enjoys a mix of rural activities and city living.
