DANIEL G. OLIVERO

Hello! My name is Daniel, and I sign my books as Daniel G. Olivero. My life has been a fascinating journey between numbers and letters. I was born in Santiago in 1967, and although my profession led me down the engineering path, I discovered my true passion in words.

My relationship with poetry began during my university years, influenced by masters like Pablo Neruda and Antonio Machado. However, my connection with literature goes beyond poetry; it extends to exploring new genres and forms of expression.

In 2019, I decided to share my autobiographical love stories in "Lost in Your Eyes." It was my first step into the world of publishing, but not the last. The following year, "The Last One Out Turns Off the Light" saw the light, a satirical and astute look at Chilean society.

2022 marked the arrival of "Self-Portrait," a free-verse poetry collection that not only explores the various stages of my life but also weaves the rich history and politics of Chile into every line.

But my pen doesn't stop there. "Portraits and Stories" is my foray into the world of short stories, where I capture the extraordinary in the everyday. It's my way of offering readers a pleasant and relaxed experience, with vibrant characters intertwined with poems.

My writings are a window into my unique view of the world, a mix of experience, observation, and a dash of humor. Will you join me on this literary journey? Discover my works and let yourself be carried away by the stories waiting to be told!
