Ignatius Fay

Ignatius, a retired invertebrate paleontologist, writes haiku, tanka, haibun, tanka prose and rengay. His poems have appeared in many of the most respected online and print journals. His latest collection of poems, entitled Breccia, is a collaboration with fellow haiku poet, Irene Golas, published in October 2012 by Lulu.com.

He published Points In Between, an anecdotal history of his first 23 years, in 2011. Two years later, he brought the anecdotal history up to date with 'Farther Along The Route.' He has been the editor of the Haiku Society of America Bulletin since 2012 and the layout artist for the HSA's journal, frogpond, since 2017. In 2020, he published his first novel, Blood Cove, co-authored by Raymond J. Belcourt. Ignatius resides in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
