Robert McMurray

Robert McMurray is Professor of Work and Organisation at The York Management School, UK. Research interests include the organization of health care, emotional labour, dirty work and visual methods. Working with colleagues he has produced books on Women Writers in Organisation and Management, the Darkside of Emotions, Wicked problems and Urban Portraiture. His work is largely ethnographic which means spending time with people while they go about their work. In his spare time he walks his dogs on the moors, dabbles in photograph, surfs and cycles.
