Hans Pols

Hans Pols is associated with the School of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Sydney. His research focuses on the history of medicine, in particular the history of health and medicine in the Dutch East Indies and Indonesia. He has also conducted research on the history of psychiatry and mental health, and is currently involved in a number of mental health projects in Indonesia. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Before that, he studied psychology in the Netherlands.
