Lucy Carrick

Lucy Carrick began as a feature writer, before moving to BBC radio as a producer/presenter, and working in TV production. She then returned to her love of writing, producing features for a range of UK newspapers such as the Daily Mail; Daily Express; Sunday Telegraph, and Your Cat magazine. For a while, she was based in the UAE, writing for Gulf News.

Wearing her author’s hat, she’s written five books, including a series of animal health guides, including My Cat has Arthritis but Lives Life to the Full and My Dog has Epilepsy but Lives Life to the Full. She also guests on animal podcasts.

Based in south-west London, she spends as much time as she can in the company of wonderful cats – her USP. As a pet-butler of sorts, she’s learned an important lesson: our fluffy four-legged friends are definitely our masters in all aspects of our lives.
