Lisa Alfano

Lisa Alfano writes immersive fantasy, psychological suspense, and dark academia thrillers filled with layered secrets, emotionally complex characters, and twist-filled journeys. Inspired by the Connecticut shoreline she calls home, her stories blend atmosphere, suspense, and heart—whether set in elite boarding schools, fractured coastal towns, or richly imagined fantasy kingdoms.

She is the author of the YA fantasy series, The Thorne Chronicles, the Perpetual Mercy School thrillers, and the coastal psychological thriller Fractured Secrets. Influenced by classic storytellers like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, Alfano crafts stories that explore loyalty, betrayal, forgiveness, and hope in the midst of darkness.

She is also the creator of Flawed Realms, an immersive bookish universe featuring lore, maps, quizzes, and reader extras inspired by her stories.

When she isn’t writing, she can often be found walking the beach with her rescue dog or dreaming up new worlds and dangerous secrets.
