Shirley Hassen

Australian author, Shirley Hassen born in Sydney and now aged 84 years old, living in the picturesque blue mountains of NSW for the past 50 years, this is a woman of determination, and will power her writing started when she was 16 years old and has continued for 60 years. Her first works were children's stories which she also illustrated. now there is a collection of different genres available on www.amazon.com.au

Her work has been self published, with so many more, manuscripts waiting to be released in different genres, adult, teen boys and girls, children’s stories, crime and romance, DIY on carpentry.

Shirley Hassen can also be found in published Anthologies USA, as well as a publication called BANKSNOTES magazine in Padstow, NSW Australia. A past member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers Shirley judged for a number of years the stories and competitions the organisation promoted and developed.
