Allison Basile

Allison Plitt Basile is a professional copywriter, creating web, mobile and marketing content across Advertising, Financial, Publishing, and Pharma industries.

Her first job, writing obituaries at the age of 16 for The East Hampton Star newspaper on Long Island, was a seminal catalyst for the dark, discerning humor that animates her first novel, "The Little Book of Bad Intentions."

Currently at work on a new book, she lives with her teenage daughter, Cavapoo pup and two cats in an historic clamming village on the scenic Jersey Shore.
