About Stasie Fishman:

My name is Stasie Fishman and I am a Long Island, New York Author. I am very excited to launch my second book Bettinna's Tail to go with her sister's book Sammie's Tail. Through these books I hope to inspire and promote kindness to all animals with education about cats and cat rescue, from the cat's perspective and point of view.

The cats tell their story about how they were lost, cold and lonely outside as homeless feral and stray cats. Struggling to find food and warmth. They are feel good stories that will make your child and you smile. Many children enjoy the real pictures and want the stories read to them over and over again.

Children and adults alike will enjoy these books. Adults have said they enjoyed, laughed and learned something too.

There is education in the back of the books for adults and children. Idea's about cat rescue and what you can do to help.

About Bettinna: Examples about how dynamic and incredible Bettinna is with all the amazing things she does. Stasie thinks she is a little human girl and not a cat. You can try all the things she does with your cats. She communicates by manipulating objects, sits like a dog, gives kisses, is a yoga cat, she talks, opens doors, closes doors and so on. There are more examples in the book on how you may be able to bring out the personalities of your own cats.

About Sammie: Sammie was older when rescued and she had some abuse and is very happy to be in her home. She inspired me to write the books and educate children and adults. She started it all.

I am a member of the Cat Writer's Association. I live on Long Island with my cat children, Sammie, Bettinna, Freddie and our feral cat outside, Lucy and few more who show up.

Coming soon is Freddie's Tail, His Story of Rescue. Freddie is Sammie and Bettinna's brother.
