Roger Glasgow was raised on a small farm in southwest Arkansas. He is the oldest of eight children. Roger worked his way through school and life, eventually becoming a successful lawyer and author.
His first book, a memoir entitled “Down and Dirty Down South,” received an Arkansas Gem award from the Arkansas Library Association. “Broadsword,” his debut novel, earned an international Pinnacle Award for excellence in writing. It chronicles a thrilling story of the trials, tragedies and triumphs of the Henderson family living in medieval Scotland. A sequel, Sea Serpent, continues the story into Ireland where a pirate queen joins the action.
Roger and his wife, Jennifer, live in Little Rock, Arkansas and Crested Butte, Colorado.
