Janna Lopez is an award-winning author, educator, speaker, and renowned book coach known for helping writers access clarity, confidence, and creative freedom. She is the author of "Me, My Selfie & Eye," a powerful exploration of midlife identity and grief, and two poetry collections, "WinSome" and "such is." Her fourth book, Medicine Needs Poetry (2026), introduces her innovative thought model--Poetic Intelligence--that brings self-compassion, reflection, and clarity into high-stakes, burnout-prone fields like medicine—bridging science and the human experience through poetry. Janna is the inaugural Poet-in-Residence at Creighton University School of Medicine—the first role of its kind in the nation—and served as the 2023 Santa Fe Poet Laureate Ambassador. She is the hostess of the live weekly streaming show, "Vinyl Poetry Lounge" where she showcases how legendary lyrics from classic rock songs spark poetic fires.
