Sunghan Ryu

Dr. Sunghan Ryu is a professor at the Nottingham University Business School China, University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). He also serves as the series editor for the Digital Entertainment series of SAGE Business Cases. Before joining UNNC, he was an associate professor at USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI) in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). His research and teaching interests center on digital innovations in cultural and creative domains and effective digital technology applications in the creative entrepreneurial context. He is the author of "Beauty of Crowdfunding: Blooming Creativity and Innovation in the Digital Era (Routledge, 2019)" and "Media and Entertainment Industry Management: How to Integrate Business and Management with Creativity and Imagination (Routledge, 2024)," and has published in top academic journals, including Journal of Marketing, MIS Quarterly, New Media & Society, and the Harvard Business Review.
