This is Lynn, waving from Arizona. Thanks for visiting my author page. First a word about the two books listed here.

Trouble in Tucson is an anthology created for Left Coast Crime in 2023. Stories were contributed by several authors, all members of Sisters in Crime. Inside you’ll find one of my short stories, "Desert Bloomers Gardening Club." Yes, it’s crime- related, but it’s also a character-driven bit of fun.

My novel, Dancing Between the Beats, debuted in December, 2019. To shed light on the title: life, like dance, is what happens between the beats. A blurb: Under the superficial glitz and glamor of a ballroom dance studio, layers of secrets and betrayals are peeled away, throwing relationships and the status quo into chaos. White collar crime, and a young instructor’s obsession to find her roots, threaten to destroy the stability of the studio, which has become a haven for both instructors and students. Everyone needs to belong, to find their tribe, and most will fight to keep their place.

Here’s a quote from Reader’s Favorites: “From the story-telling to the development of the characters, the novel is adeptly written and results in an engaging and entertaining story…infused with humor, which makes the work even more appealing.”

Just FYI, my publication history includes Flash Fiction Magazine, The Wild Word, Every Day Fiction, Wow! Women on Writing, and Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, among others. When I’m not writing, I’m gardening, interacting with my adored pets, trying to paint with watercolors or draw with colored pencils, or I'm reading. I explore the world and other perspectives through books.

I attempt to catch life’s curve balls on my blog, "The View From My Window," www.lynnnicholaswrites.com. Please drop by for a visit and don't be shy about leaving comments.
