Dimitri Favre

Dimitri Favre is an enthusiast and passionate agilist with more than 25 years of IT industry experience. In his career he covered various roles, from software engineer to Chief Technology Officer. And of course he was also a (repented) project manager.

In 2007 he met the Agile Manifesto, and it was love at first sight. As an agile and transformation coach, he works hard side by side with teams and managers to uncover better ways of developing software and delighting customers. He is an active member of the Italian Agile Movement, and a regular speaker at agile conferences.

In his free time, he is a voracious reader and avid consumer of audiobooks, with a particular fondness for mystery, thriller, and noir genres.

For Giallo Parma, he wrote “La Spiaggetta sul Taro” in the anthology I delitti del Ducato – 12 mesi, 12 autori, 12 misteri (2024), and “La pigrizia dello sbirro” in the anthology I delitti del Ducato Vol. 2 – 12 mesi, 12 autori, 12 misteri (2025), both published by Massimo Soncini Editore.

With the short story “Il giorno in cui la musica morì”, he won 2nd place at the 52nd Premio Gran Giallo Città di Cattolica and was a finalist at Garfagnana in Giallo 2025.

The short story "Miserere" is a finalist at Giaveno in Giallo 2025.

“L’asimmetria della menzogna” is his debut novel.
