Ashley Bouder

Ashley Bouder is a dancer and choreographer based in New York. She is a principal dancer for the New York City Ballet and runs her own arts collaborative: Ashley Bouder Project. The organisation is dedicated to furthering the inclusion of women and marginalized people in leadership roles in the performing arts world. She is the recipient of the Award of Excellence in the Arts by Borough of Manhattan Community College for her work in gender equality in dance. She also has two Dance Open Awards and is the 2019 winner of the Benois de la Danse (the Oscar’s of the ballet world). She has a young daughter, Violet Storm with her husband Peter Rainbow de Florio.
