Ben Cober

Originally from Guilford, CT, Ben grew up tide-pooling on the Atlantic shores and sailing with his family. He has hence moved all across the United States, where he currently resides in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his wife and Airedale Terrier.

An avid pop-culture, film, and gaming enthusiast, a love of adventure was inspired in Ben at a young age by his traveling parents - both theatrically and musically-inclined. He finds his greatest writing inspirations from traveling around the world and sampling unique experiences, from Bombay to Shanghai, Paris to the BVI, Peru to Rome, and many more.

Ben began by studying theater at Butler University, and received his BS in Tourism Management from the U. of Illinois, and his MBA from Indiana U. An adamant proponent of the value, growth, and closeness that tourism and travel provides, today Ben works in marketing and public relations for an architecture firm which designs zoos, museums, aquariums, and theme parks around the world.

An exploration and adrenaline junky, Ben spends his free time mountain-climbing, sailing, SCUBA-diving, and adventure-sporting, all while photographing it all and planning themed and gaming parties for friends and family in between.
