Dr. Jean Wolf

Dr. Jean Wolf grew up in a small town in Iowa, where she experienced a childhood filled with adventure. Her grandfather was a prolific story teller, and he influenced her decision to write novels. The storylines in the books were prompted by the author's research into her German roots. Issues of racism, discrimination, suppression and retaliation are explored within the context of complex, unbreakable relationships.

Dr. Wolf has a Masters of Arts in Nursing from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Iowa State University. She spent over thirty years as a nurse educator, where she used story telling to teach the art of nursing practice. She lives in Des Moines, Iowa.
